PICASSO| VALLAURIS Exhibitions from 1948-1958. Picasso lived in the town of Vallauris on the south east coast of France. It is here he started making ceramics in addition to lino cuts. Every year he would make lino cuts for the posters for the bullfights and ceramic exhibitions held in the town . He pushed the boundaries of this field and to date these are some of the most valued pieces of his work .
The Reductions in 17 vignettes of the posters created by Picasso for the Vaullauris Exhibitions + 1 A.V.E.C vignette + the 2 VAULLAURIS postcards 1952 and 1955 welded and serving as covers for the 2 plates of the vignettes ( complete collection - original colours published by L'Association Vallaurienne d'Expansion Céramique.
