COMPOSITION STUDIO

At Composition Studio, our collection is thoughtfully assembled, with many pieces being one-of-a-kind, vintage, antique or produced in limited quantities.

We encourage considered purchasing and are always happy to provide further photographs, measurements or information before an order is placed.

Change of Mind

We do not offer refunds, returns or exchanges for change of mind, incorrect selection or where a piece is no longer suitable for its intended space.

This applies to both full-priced and sale items, including vintage and antique furniture, collectible objects and homewares.

We encourage customers to carefully review dimensions, condition descriptions and photographs before purchasing.

Vintage & Antique Pieces

Our vintage and antique pieces have histories of their own.

Natural patina, age-related wear, minor surface marks, variations in finish and evidence of previous use are often inherent to these objects and contribute to their individual character.

We endeavour to disclose significant imperfections, repairs and relevant condition details wherever known.

Characteristics that have been clearly disclosed before purchase are taken into account when assessing the condition of an item.

Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

All purchases are protected by applicable consumer guarantees under Australian Consumer Law.

If an item is faulty, materially different from its description, unsafe or otherwise fails to meet an applicable consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund or other remedy depending on the circumstances.

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.

We recommend including your order number, a description of the issue and photographs of the item and packaging where available.

We will review the matter and work with you to arrange an appropriate resolution.

Returns Process

Please contact Composition Studio before arranging a return.

Where a return is required under Australian Consumer Law, we will provide instructions and arrange or cover reasonable return transport costs as required by law.

For larger furniture or fragile pieces, we may arrange specialist collection or freight.

Please do not independently arrange the return of oversized or fragile items without first discussing the appropriate transport method with our team.

Refund Processing

Where a refund is approved, it will generally be issued to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed or required by law.

Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider or financial institution.

Any applicable refund of original delivery charges will be handled in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

Custom & Special Orders

Bespoke, commissioned, specially sourced and made-to-order pieces are generally not eligible for change-of-mind cancellation or return once production or sourcing has commenced.

Any agreed cancellation arrangements or reasonable costs already incurred will be communicated where applicable.

Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies available under Australian Consumer Law.

Consumer guarantees apply to eligible purchases of both new and second-hand goods, taking into account their age, condition, description and other relevant circumstances.
